How to Create Music with AIVA: Step-by-Step Guide

1. Create Your Free AIVA Account

  • Visit the AIVA website or go directly to the Create Account page.

  • Click “Create a free account.”

  • Fill in your email, set a password, and complete any required information. You can also sign up using Google or Facebook for convenience.

  • Confirm your registration via the email sent to your inbox (if prompted).

2. Access the AIVA Dashboard

  • After logging in, you’ll be taken to your personalized dashboard, where you can start creating music immediately.

  • The dashboard is user-friendly and offers easy navigation to all features.

3. Start a New Music Project

  • Click on “Create Track” or a similar button to begin a new composition.

  • You’ll be presented with several options to customize your music:

    • Generation Profiles: Choose a genre, tempo, and duration for your song.

    • Influences: Upload your own MIDI or audio file as inspiration for the AI.

    • Preset Styles: Select from a wide range of preset styles or use the “Emotion View” for mood-based creation.

4. Customize Your Music

  • Set your preferences for style, mood, tempo, and other musical parameters.

  • Optionally, define a chord progression or upload a reference file to guide the AI.

  • Click “Generate” and let AIVA compose your music. This usually takes just a few seconds.

5. Edit and Refine (Optional)

  • Once your track is generated, use AIVA’s built-in timeline editor to:

    • Add or remove instruments

    • Adjust melodies and harmonies

    • Change the structure or tempo of the song

  • This step is optional but recommended for personalized results.

6. Download Your Music

  • When satisfied, download your composition in MP3 or MIDI format.

  • Free accounts allow up to 3 downloads per month, with tracks up to 3 minutes.

  • For more downloads, longer tracks, or commercial use, consider upgrading your plan.

7. Use and Share Your Creation

  • You can now use your AI-generated music in projects, presentations, or as part of your digital portfolio.

  • Remember to credit AIVA if you’re using the free plan and follow their licensing guidelines.

Example: Generating a Music Piece

Suppose you want to create an uplifting pop track:

  • Log in to your AIVA dashboard.

  • Click “Create Track.”

  • Select “Pop” as your genre, set the mood to “uplifting,” choose a tempo of 120 BPM, and a duration of 2 minutes.

  • Click “Generate.” AIVA will create a unique pop song in seconds.

  • Preview the track. If you want, use the timeline editor to add a guitar or adjust the melody.

  • Download your finished song as an MP3.
